Book Club Retreat

For this months bookclub we read 'The Scarlet Pimpernel" by Baroness Emmuska Orczy. The book was fun to read, and instead of getting together at the hosts house (Tendra) we decided to go to Garden Valley for an overnighter.  Tendra's family has a cabin up there so us girls went and enjoyed an evening away.

We went down to the pool for some swimming.   More like sitting and relaxing.  There is a pool that is fed with hot springs water so it is really nice and warm and relaxing.  Unfortunaley they close at dark so we only stayed for a little bit.  Here's me after swimming say 'cheese' *smile*

We watched the movie 'The Scarlet Pimpernel' the version with Jane Seymour.  It was okay, but it wasn't something to jump up and down about.  The next morning we had some yummy breakfast and took a walk. 
We also had to get a group shot so I took a picture of the girls trying to set the timers on the cameras and the girls hangin out waiting *smile*

This one I took of Jessica so she could give it to her daughter who had been learning about totem (sp) poles in school.

I had a great time visiting with my friends and learning even more about each of them.  I am so blessed to know these great women!
